As a guitarist and singer, the New Zealand-born musician has lived the highlight reel of rock n’ roll. Performing to thousands of screaming rock fans, multiple singles in the top 40 on U.S Rock radio, traveling the world with his music.

 

But rock n’ roll is a world of high highs and low lows, a true rollercoaster which Matt experienced first hand. As an artist struggling to keep up with the brutal tour schedule and constant pressure from the music industry, Matt turned increasingly to alcohol and isolation.

Hitting rock bottom during the height of the covid pandemic, all touring cancelled and his personal life collapsing around him, Matt awoke to the startling realization that his life was speeding towards a dead end.
